Josef (Rafael Pettersson) is involved in a car accident that throws him into a roller coaster of memories, large and small. He remembers his severely depressed father in a Santa suit, the angry neighbor shouting during a wild house party, his mother’s unconditional love, and the New Year’s Eve that ended in romance and vomit. Why all these memories appear, and what they mean, he won’t know until the end.

Antoine – um solitário nervoso – passa os seus dias num café na Place Clichy a observar pessoas. Todos os dias, vê uma mulher a quem chama Albertine a sair do metro e a ir ao cinema. Hoje em dia, ele toma a si próprio a tarefa de falar com ela. Assim começou o declínio de Antoine.
Antoine – grieving loner – spends his days in a café on Place Clichy watching people. Every day, he sees a woman he calls Albertine get out of the subway and go to the movies. Today, he takes it upon himself to talk to her. Thus began Antoine’s down-going.
