Numa varanda, um homem fuma inquieto. Quando volta para o interior, uma mulher desconhecida provoca-o, levando-o a partir para uma viagem introspetiva. Apesar da insegurança, o homem deixa-se levar por esta mulher de encontro ao seu verdadeiro eu.
On a balcony, a man smokes nervously. When he comes back inside, an unknown woman provokes him, bringing him on an introspective journey. Despite of his insecurity, the man lets himself be carried by this woman and be brought to his true self.

Aurora é uma jovem artista do Norte de Portugal. Desde cedo se apaixonou pela dança e pela moda. Saiu da sua vila para percorrer o sonho de suceder no mundo da performance, mudando-se para Lisboa, entre ensaios e espetáculos, luta ara mostrar o seu trabalho e quebrar preconceitos com as suas criações. Uma viagem pela arte e a luta de ser uma artista em transição. Flávio é o seu nome de batismo e Aurora o nome que escolheu para o renascimento.
Aurora is a young artist from a small village in the North of Portugal. From early ages she was in love with fashion and dance. Today she lives in Lisbon, where she follows her dream to be successful in performance art. Between rehearsals and shows, she fights to break preconceptions through her creations. Flávio was her baptism name and Aurora the name she chose to reborn.

Há aqueles que lutam, que acreditam e que são aquilo que querem. Sem amarras, sobem bem alto e lá do cimo, do salto, inventam mulheres, reinventam-se, transformam-se e com eles, lá de cima, do salto alto, as coisas cá em baixo vão mudando. Entrem, ou melhor, subam para o e conheçam os homens que inventam mulheres.
There are those who fight, who believe and are who they want to be.
With no strings attached, they rise high above. From up there, from the top, they reinvent themselves, transform themselves and along with them, from above, from the top of their high heels, things down below seem to be changing.
Come inside, or better yet, come up and meet the Men who invent women.

Uma viagem por viagens. Uma homenagem aos pais. Um autorretrato.
Filha de imigrantes portugueses no Luxemburgo, a diretora aborda o passado dos pais através de velhas cassetes, com filmagens caseiras feitas pelos pais do distante país desconhecido que acabavam por ser mandadas para os familiares em Portugal. Ao longo do filme, descobrimos o passado do pai e da mãe, as dificuldades no novo país, assim como as dificuldades da realizadora de se acostumar a um país onde não nasceu nem cresceu, sem os seus pais.
A journey throughout trips. A tribute to the parents. A self-portrait.
As a child of Portuguese immigrants in Luxembourg, the director explores her parents’ past through videotapes, which they used to record their new surroundings and doings in that distant country, and which they would later on send back home to Portugal. As the film progresses, we discover her father’s and mother’s pasts, their struggles in their new soon-to-be home, as well as the director’s new struggles to adjust in a country where she wasn’t born nor raised, without her parents.

Oskar is popular at his new school. But after his classmates find out that he is Jewish, he is threatened and bullied brutally. While the headmaster ignores his parents’ pleas, Oskar has to find his own ways to cope with the humiliations. Based on true events.
Based on actual events, this film tells the story of 15-year-old Oskar who newly visits a multi-cultural high school. He feels comfortable in his class community and has found a best friend in his seatmate Eren. However, when Oskar, without thinking, reveals in an ethics lesson that he is Jewish, the atmosphere changes. More and more, he is excluded, bullied and even physically attacked by some of his classmates. Eren, too, has to give in to the peer pressure and is forced to betray his friend.
Ashamed, Oskar keeps the attacks secret at home. When his parents finally learn about the bullying, they try to talk to the school’s headmaster — however, their pleas are ignored and their worries dismissed. Thus, Oskar is faced with the question: Is he going to further endure the humiliations — or can he find a way to hold his own and to stand by his identity?
