Sinopse Original Original Sinopsis Numa cidade que carrega o peso de expectativas falhadas e ausências profundas, seguimos o dia de três jovens adultos.
César, que entra numa sessão fotográfica ao acaso, Chloé, que procura encontrar um espaço para desenvolver o seu trabalho artístico, e Helena, que volta à sua cidade natal para uns dias de férias, acabando por encontrar a sombra viva de uma perda passada.
À medida que a realidade lhes falha, o destino cria uma espécie de espaço virtual feito de memórias, melancolia e ocasiões raras em que o único desfecho possível é a total absorção para uma outra realidade.

Sinopse Internacional Sinopsis

Through a city that carries the weight of broken expectations and tough absencies, we follow the day of three young adults. César who got into a photoshoot by accident, Chloé who hopes to find a place to do her own work, and Helena who is back in her town for some days, only to find the living shadow of a loss. As reality keeps failing them, destiny creates a kind of virtual space made of memories, melancholy, and rare occasions that lead to a point when it all can be absorbed.

Biografia do Realizador Director Biography
Diogo Baldaia was born in Oporto in 1992. He studied Directing and Cinematography at Lisbon Theatre and Film School (ESTC), in Lisbon, and did a Master’s degree in Fine Arts (Video) at KASK (Ghent, Belgium). He works professionally as Assistant Director and Editior. His previous films “Fury” (2013) and “Vulto” (2014) were screened in international festivals such as IndieLisboa, Doclisboa and Curtas de Vila do Conde and in other exhibitions in Canada, China and Austria. His last film “Mirage My Bros” (2017) won the prize for Best Portuguese Shortfilm at Indielisboa 17’ and the prize for Best Film in the Fiction and Documentary Competition at VIS Vienna Shorts Film Festival, and it circulated in national and international festivals such as International Film Festival Rotterdam, Entrevues Belfort, among others. In 2017 he established the cinema production company Areosa. He is currently finishing his film “Destiny Deluxe” and preparing his first feature film.
