MARELD é o resultado onde documentário e cinema se misturam numa sinergia negra, onde a realidade e a ficção podem ser difíceis de distinguir. Uma equipa de filmagem saiu para o arquipélago de Estocolmo. O plano era gravar um thriller onde as cenas eram improvisadas em ordem cronológica. Os actores ficaram a conhecer as suas personagens e uma directiva de abordagem global. Não conheceram o final e a maioria das cenas só foram apresentadas pouco antes de serem filmadas. O realizador teve algumas surpresas durante a produção. Um realizador de documentários acompanhou o trabalho e de repente o documentário tornou-se uma experiência inesperada. MARELD is the product where documentary and film is mixed in a dark synergy, where reality and fiction can be difficult to distinguish. A film team went out into the Stockholm archipelago. The plan was to record a thriller where the scenes were improvised in chronological order. The actors got to know their characters and one overall approach directive. They did not know the end and most of the scenes were not presented until just before shooting. The director had some surprises during production. A documentary filmmaker followed the work and suddenly the documentary became an unexpected experience. The question is when reality surpasses the fiction …

Biografia do Realizador Director Biography
Ove Valeskog is a Swedish producer, director and filmmaker, born in Västervik, Småland. Ove has a great passion for history, mythology and nature, which permeates his films. With more than 25 years of experience working with film, sound and music, his wide experince has resulted in two feature films: Huldra -Lady of the forest (2016) and Mareld (2019). Ove has produced, directed, written scripts and composed most of the music for both films. “My experience has given me the opportunity to tell stories with different forms of expression. I’ve been writing songs and making music videos, I’ve written screenplays, directed and produced commercials, short stories and pilots.
