Oliver Helfrich e sua esposa Rea levam uma vida familiar dominada pela violência e pelo terror psico – no meio está seu filho Jonas. Oliver trabalha em um projeto promissor em seu trabalho, enquanto Rea está em nostalgia e depressão em casa. Oliver decide levar o bebê para o trabalho. A partir de então, Rea o deixa ainda mais reprovado e se sente desrespeitado como mulher e como um fracasso no papel de sua mãe. Rea assedia Oliver no escritório com terror por telefone. Em casa, ela usa violência física contra ele. Oliver é criticado por seu chefe que ele deveria “se recompor como um homem” e controlar a situação. Após a falsa tentativa de suicídio de Rea, chega a uma escalada. Quando a polícia chega ao apartamento, a evidência é determinada por papéis desatualizados de gênero.

Oliver Helfrich and his wife Rea lead a family life dominated by violence and psycho terror – in the middle is their baby son Jonas. Oliver works on a promising project at his job, while Rea is in nostalgia and depression at home. Oliver decides to take their baby to work. From then on, Rea makes him even more reproaches and feels disrespected as a woman and as a failure in her mother’s role. Rea harasses Oliver in the office with telephone terror. At home she uses physical violence against him. Oliver is criticized by his boss that he should “pull himself together like a man” and get the situation under control. After Rea’s fake suicide attempt, it comes to an escalation. When the police arrives at the apartment, the evidence is determined by outdated gender roles.
