Sinopse Synopsis Born and raised in Lisbon, the villages of Sintra and Cascais perpetuate opposite realities. Through the daily routines of the inhabitants of the surrounding cities of these two villages and the spaces that surround them, using the railway lines as a conductor brush, a contrasting portrait is painted between Sintra and Cascais, both daughters of Lisbon, a capital city that keeps pushing people and their stories away from it. The railway routes expose a reflected image of the most diverse cities that are part of the Sintra and Cascais lines. A typical day, from morning to night, in Cascais and Sintra is told through moving photographs of spaces and their residents. It is accepted what the inhabited space provides to those who see it, and the chaos, segregation, and carelessness experienced in Sintra are contrasted with the more orderly reality of Cascais.
