Sinopse A exploração de uma ilha dominada por violência e por fantasmas, em que a única solução para o regresso a uma coexistência pacífica, entre o mundo dos vivos e dos que já partiram, é o saldar das dívidas com o passado. O filme faz uma aproximação ao colonialismo português em São Tomé e Príncipe, a partir da memória coletiva e o seu impacto atual na população. Assenta numa prática de realização colaborativa através da participação dos actores no processo de construção das cenas e diálogos do filme, construídas a partir do quotidiano e da história de vida dos actores, das relações comunitárias e da memória coletiva do colonialismo português, articulando QUOTIDIANO, HISTÓRIA, MEMÓRIA e FANTÁSTICO. Synopsis An exploration of an island dominated by violence and ghosts, where the only solution to return to a peaceful coexistence, between the world of the living and that of the departed, is to settle the debts of the past. This film intends to approach Portuguese colonialism in São Tomé e Príncipe from the collective memory and its current impact on the population. The film is structured on collaborative practice through the participation of the actors in the process of creation of the scenes and dialogues of the film, created from the actors’ daily lives and personal histories, their interpersonal relationships, and the collective memory of Portuguese colonialism, articulating DAILY LIFE, HISTORY, MEMORY, and FANTASTIC.
