Biografia do Realizador Director Biography

Lucas Melo is a young brazilian filmmaker and first-time director from the suburb of Rio de janeiro. He graduated in business school but left the corporate world after losing his job to go to film school and pursuit his dream of making films. ‘Prata’, his debut work, premiered in Rio de Janeiro International Short film Festival 2020, one of the most important short film festivals of the country, winning the Grand prix which makes the film qualified to the 2022 academy awards.
