Através de uma linguagem crua e plástica, esta curta-metragem de animação 2D documenta a infância de Maria e a sua luta para sobreviver à pobreza que existia no Bairro Piscatório de Espinho, durante 1950/1960.

Sinopse Internacional Sinopsis

Through a raw and plastic aesthetic, this 2D animated short-film documents Maria’s childhood and her struggle to survive the existing poverty of Es-pinho’s fishing village during 1950/1960.

Biografia do Realizador Director Biography

Helena Bernardes was born on September 30, 1997, in Portugal, in the city of Espinho. She holds a degree in Digital Arts and Multimedia at the School of Arts and Design (ESAD) in Matosinhos. She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Animation at the Portuguese Catholic University, from which emerged the project “Casa 52”. Margarida Rocha was born on November 21, 1997, in Portugal, in the city of Porto. She holds a degree in Communication Design at the Fine Arts Faculty of the University of Porto (FBAUP), with an exchange semester in École Nationale Supériure des Arts Décoratif (ENSAD) in Paris, France. She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Animation at the Portuguese Catholic University, from which emerged the project “Casa 52”.
