Nuno, um açoriano que vive em Lisboa, perdeu a coleção de vinis da adolescência. Este sentimento de perda lança-o numa aventura à procura dos discos que representam a sua juventude, numa ilha no meio do Atlântico. Uma demanda que não é mais que um resgate da juventude perdida.Um paraíso insular onde reata relações perdidas com os velhos amigos e relembram as histórias e músicas da adolescência, desde The Pale Saints e This Mortal Coil, até Pixies e The Cure, cruzadas com o tradicional folclore da cultura açoriana. Uma mistura mágica e misteriosa que tempera as paisagens estonteantes da ilha.

Sinopse Internacional Sinopsis

An Azorean living in Lisbon, has lost his vinyl collection from his youth, driving him on a quest for his records, in a tropical and isolated island in the middle of the Atlantic. A rescue for his lost youth in the 80’s.

Mensagem do Realizador Director Statement
Lost Records is what some may call an arthouse film. For us it’s a cool loving piece of hybrid film that mixes reality with fiction. A path built along the adventures we came across with, while shooting this quest in the exotic island of São Miguel, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Wether during the moments of the purest truth, or of creative bursts, and even musical experiments, we behind the cameras, also went on the search of our own lost records.

Biografia do Realizador Director Biography
Born in Lisbon, got through high school in an Art High School and got the Bachelor on Film Production in the Portuguese Conservatory – Film School. Went to Brasil and got a Major in Film Directing at the UFF, Rio de Janeiro. Back in Portugal got another Major in ScriptWriting. Wrote, Produced and Directed the short ONE NIGHT BULLET premiered at New York Film Festival, selected to festivals around the world and huge success in Portugal. Directed a bunch of MusicVideos in the past 10 years to top Portuguese artists, and also British French and Argentinian artists. Directed his first TV Commercial in 2009 and won the Mention D’Honeur in Milan at the Sport Movies & TV Fest. Directed a Commercial for Coca-Cola in 2011 whose campaign was selected to Cannes. One of his TV Series – Melancomic – was considered Most Original TV Series by Time Out Magazine, 2 years in a row. His first feature NIRVANA: A Gangster Odyssey, got theatrical distribution in 2014. It was nominated for Best Action Indie Film in Los Angeles ( AOFFest ), and Best Original Song at the Portuguese Film Academy Awards. Co-directed the arthouse Feature Film Train Station, selected to festivals around the world. Winner of Best Film at the L.A. Diversity Film Festival, and Best Picture at the Kosovo International Fim Festival GODDESS ON THE THRONE 2016 created CINEPOP, a theatre dedicated to screen iconic films from the 70s, 80s and 90s. This summer, directed a TV Movie for the portuguese main national channel. An adaption of a book from one of the most best recognized novelists, Mário de Carvalho
