Vasco Câmara Jornalista

Vasco Câmara is an editor of PÚBLICO newspaper's cultural supplement Ípsilon since 2007, being part of the newspaper's movie critics team, where he is sent from, specially to be part of the Cannes and Veneza Festivals. Author of the text “O Cinema Acossado” (Hounded Cinema, in a free translation), which opened the “Cinema Português Anos 90” (“90's Portuguese Cinema”, in a free translation) catalog dedicated to the retrospective organized in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, between November 1st and 13th, 1994. Author of “O Homem da Câmara de Filmar” (“The Camcorder Man”, in a free translation), text included in the monograph dedicated to the North-American documentary Ross McElwee in the scope of a cycle organized by DocLisboa in 2005. Lectured Cultural Journalism under Universidade Nova de Lisboa's Journalism Master's Degree.
