Has a PhD in Communication Sciences by Lisbon's Nova University. Currently coordinates the Bachelor in Multimedia Games and Applications, is vice president of the Degree in Digital Animation and MA in Animation Arts, the Lusophone University of Humanities and Technology.

Talks about digital post-production for Cinema, TV, Video Games and Animation and does research in Communication projects, Information Technology and Arts.

His works in the MovLab – Interactions and Interfaces Laboratory in the areas of Entertainment, Design and Communication are an example of the various areas in which he’s involved in both academic and professional levels.
