Fátima Chinita Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema

Has a PhD in Art Studies by the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon and a Master in Communication Sciences - Culture and New Technologies by the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the Nova's University of Lisbon. She teaches at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School since 1995.


Has a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema by the School of Theatre and Cinema and a degree in Modern Languages ​​and Literature – Portuguese and English Studies by the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon.
As a researcher, she is currently connected to the Intermedia and Intermodality Studies Research Center (IMS) in Väjxö – Sweden and the Labcom.IFP in Covilhã.
It is also a collaborator of the Center for Arts and Communication at the University of Algarve (CIAC) and an effective member of several research associations in audiovisual abroad.

Author of The (In)visible Spectator – Reflectivity in the Spectator Optics in INLAND EMPIRE, published by Livros LABCOM.
Regularly participates in conferences and writes about Metacinema, Self-reflexivity, Narrative, Copyright Studies and Intermedia.
